BEHIND THE
CAMPAIGN

Launched by our founders in 2016 and until now, available only via their private showroom, the coveted DADELSZEN wardrobe experience is now available at FARADAYS, with a chic and timeless edit of their best-selling essentials.

For the ultimate in luxurious capsule wardrobe dressing, or for effortless wardrobe must-haves that perfectly complement existing favourite pieces, DADELSZEN is designed to be worn top to toe, as well as mixed and matched, working beautifully as a supporting staple.

Working for the fifth time with the inimitable Tony Duran, the Los Angeles based photographer, yet for the first time ever, remotely, DADELSZEN’s newest campaign for Summer, entitled  'Let Me Free', captures the longing desire for a return to the reality we crave - for social interaction, for celebration and for spontaneity.

Known most famously for his portraiture of some of the world's most iconic celebrities, from Brad Pitt to Penelope Cruz, Tony also has a deep affinity for creating still and moving imagery that acutely examines our times, with seductive romance.

After one quarter of a year spent in lockdown, this collection and campaign is about embracing the taste of hedonism we all seek, after endless weeks spent in doors; about celebrating the everyday, by dressing up to the nines - even if just because; about the impending paradise of freedom that is now so close, yet still feels just out of reach. It's about creativity in the context of what we must work with right in front of us - out of resourcefulness, in time, we discover enlightenment.

Juxtaposed with the curiousness that is physical isolation we now experience, he wears her pieces, and she wears his - it's about blurring the lines, and removing ourselves from the boundaries within which we are currently confined.

"Tony has an indescribable way of reading my mind, even from thousands of miles away," says Edward von Dadelszen, DADELSZEN founder and co-creative director, about the latest campaign.

"Throughout this tumultuous year, we have leaned more than ever on trusted partners to bring our vision to life - and in some ways, the results have been even more incredible than we could have ever imagined."

"'Let me Free' tells the fantastical story of what comes next, the rebirth of us all, which is just around the corner. We can’t wait to share a part of it with you."

DADELSZEN's values of excellence, transparency, effortless sensuality and unwavering craftsmanship inform their uncompromisingly authentic marriage of beautiful cuts with the finest fabrics, leathers and textiles.

Each timeless garment is constructed to perfection by the world’s premier, generations-old ateliers in Tuscany, Parma, Milan and Paris.

Made to be worn and loved, through all of life’s moments, the collections are inspired by founders Constance and Edward von Dadelszen's shared experiences and passions; a collision of obsessions and desires, underpinned by the original values of luxury.

Working together with Tony to capture the spirit of DADELSZEN in their latest collection, the campaign transcends its original commercial context and lands squarely in the context of art.

Perennial pieces showcased, such as the men's Brera Chino in Supima Cotton, the Prince Shawl Lapel Tuxedo Jacket and the Helena Blazer for her, are now available at FARADAYS.
