48 HOURS IN SYDNEY WITH MRS FARADAYS
In celebration of the Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 2015 Launch, Faradays Co-founder and Creative Director, Constance von Dadelszen spent 48 hours in Sydney, ending with a night hosted by the 250-year-old Maison’s Chef de Cave, Didier Mariotti.

“This was my first experience at Capella, I visited off the back of many recommendations from clients and friends. I adore the expansive heritage building and the way that it has been so beautifully and respectfully renovated. Their restaurant, Brasserie 1930 is perfect for a light bite or a long lunch, surrounded by inspired artworks. My favourite cocktail is the French 75 (you might have noticed it’s the only one on our bar menu). Whenever I see it on another establishment’s menu I just have to order it, and this one did not disappoint. It was also lovely to see such a luxurious space be at once family-friendly. I plan to stay there next time with my husband and son.”

“Menzie’s is a great spot in the newly opened Shell House. Warm and cosy, it’s also great that it is open on a Monday, as many places aren’t in Sydney. Perfect for an after-work drink during the cooler months.”

"On my last day, I was so kindly hosted by Veuve Clicquot for the launch of their new 2015 La Grande Dame Vintage. I am very much looking forward to launching the vintage at Faraday's this spring. Not only is the new drop divine to drink, the collaboration with artist Paola Paronetto is so fitting for Faradays, all of our in-bound ready-to-wear collections feature a very similar colour palette which will make for a lovely synergy between our hospitality and retail offering.”
“For the evening, I chose to wear an Alexandre Vauthier cocktail dress that was on theme - french, floral and sparkling. Paired with a vintage clutch and earrings, Pink Magnolia by Loewe (my signature scent) and of course, La Bouche Rouge Lipstick and highlighter”
